Adventure Portraits on the Superstition Mountains // Adventure Portrait Photographer

There is something extra amazing about hiking up a mountain. I know that because I hiked my first one where you were supposed to be an “experienced hiker.” First of all, I’m not exactly sure what that means. My husband and I discussed it as we climbed on all fours, bouldering our way up the mountain path. I guess we’ll just keep hiking and listening to our bodies to make sure we do what we are able. I’m pretty sure we’ll keep pushing it in order to improve little by little, though.

As we hike and explore, I keep doing more location scouting for future sessions in these amazing locations that we now get to call our backyard. We have a beautiful country full of so much variety, and I’ve been loving seeing it so far. I already have so many locations for epic engagement, elopement, and portrait sessions that I can’t wait to photograph people in. Also, would you believe that this amazing location was on the path! No nature was harmed in the making of these portraits. ;)

I’m going to share a little secret, I made the wrap skirt I am wearing in these images! And I made it out of curtains, haha! I love making the dresses I own available to my clients because I think that every woman deserves to feel beautiful in a long, flowing skirt. Don’t hesitate to ask to borrow one of them! Or multiple!
