Mountainside Family Portraits // New Mexico Family Photographer

While in New Mexico, my husband and I had the opportunity to visit with some sweet, kind friends from college. They spoiled us with multiple meals, invited us into their lives, and even gave me the honor of photographing them! So on Saturday morning, we ventured out to their favorite trail for a little adventure.

You might have noticed that their family has three adorable little girls, two of whom are identical twins! The third is only two and this happened to be her first time hiking these hills completely on her own. She did it like a champ! Well, we had a few tumbles, but thankfully all is well.

It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect in my opinion. Maybe a little chilly, but that slight breeze coming through is one of my favorite things as a photographer. I love the extra life it adds to photos.

I’m so grateful that to have spent time with this wonderful family. I’m also grateful that they shared their favorite trail with me and that I could share these photos with them. :)
