Donner Lake, California // Will & Olivia Engaged

Will and Olivia. :) They've been dating for several years and looking toward marriage for a little while now, too. It's been four years since Will started going to Olivia's annual family reunion at Donner Lake and last year he decided that this, 2015, was the year he wanted to ask her if they could officially join their families together.

At the beginning of the week, Will took Olivia on a lunch date and then drove her up the mountain a ways. He was pretty excited so he picked a pretty pull-off that overlooked the lake and parked the car. (The location of the first photo.) :) They got out of the car and Will distracted Olivia with the old "hey, look at that" and pointed somewhat behind her; she fell for the ploy and looked away. When she looked back, Will was on his knee with a beautiful ring asking for her to become his wife.

Next year they will be attending the family reunion again, but as husband and wife. The special location of the family reunion, Donner Lake, has become even more special for them now. Congratulations, you two! May the many years ahead of you be wonderful. :)
