Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona Engagement Session // Arizona Engagement Photographer
Just the other day, I had the pleasure of finally meeting Sam and Logan in person for their engagement session! Let me tell you, they really are the sweet, kind couple I thought they were. No, they’re even sweeter. :) They are so cute together, too. Everything about them being together just seems so natural—so meant to be.
I met Sam and Logan just outside of Phoenix in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s a cute little spot with shops, restaurants, and a large lawn for activities, like the concert in the park that serenaded my location scouting earlier that day. We weaved our way through the streets to find hidden nooks that lent so well to photos. Even though the streets were filled with visitors in town from all over the country for baseball’s spring training (Go Cubs! haha), we were still able to have so many spaces just to ourselves.
These two were up for anything, which was so fun! I asked them once if they wanted to try something “weird” or more traditional next, and right away Logan said to go for the “weird” thing. It was so fun to play and create something more unique for them. I’m always so honored that my clients trust me so much.
Sam and Logan really are such a great couple. They’ll actually be celebrating eleven years together this year. Through that time they’ve lived all over, even Alaska! They said the mountains there are beautiful. :) The “all over” also includes Oregon, where their wedding will be celebrated in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country. For now, school has led them to Arizona where Logan is working hard to become a Physician’s Assistant. So cool! (You’ve got this, Logan!)
Thank you so much, Sam and Logan, for the honor of getting to meet you and photograph your love. I’m sincerely so excited for where life will take you and how you’ll get to experience it all together. I hope our adventure was a good break from studying for your exams, Logan. I know you’ll do great on them! Congratulations, again, you two! And I’m excited to celebrate with you in a few months! (Can someone say dance party? :D)
